The City has just opened registration for our summer swim lesson offerings! All levels and all sessions are open for online registration. Staff at the Recreation Office at 515 Forest Ave will also take registrations by mail or by drop-off.
This summer, we are offering a NEW class! The Stroke Clinic will follow Advanced Stroke, for swimmers getting ready to swim at a more competitive level. The class focuses on specific stroke refinement. Swimmers who struggle to master a skill can join us for short, targeted straining in a low-pressure setting. Each session focuses on one skill, broken down into manageable, easy-to-learn tasks. Topics include: freestyle; backstroke; breaststroke; butterfly; starts and streamlines; flip turns; breakouts and underwaters; and open turns and IM transitions. Prerequisite: Advanced Stroke, or instructor approval.
To view this summer’s course offerings, see the quarterly brochure (available at the pool, the Community Center, and City Hall), or our online registration website (under the Aquatics tab). Remember that if you haven’t taken a class with us recently, you may need to create a new account.
As always, we are happy to answer any questions at the pool, at (949) 376-9818, or the Rec Office, at (949) 497-0716.
Have a great weekend!
